I looked at him confused with my hand on the doorknob. "I think I'm going to go hunt for a bit. I'm feeling a little.... agitated. You can stay if you'd like." I open the door and start toward the stairs. On my way down all that I can think about is Tylen. It was odd, for I had not thought about another... being since Alex. I was amused by him and yet I had a feeling that I should be cautious when I was around him. I made my way back to the bar and started my search for my next prey. The first man to come to me bought me a brandy, which I sat and sipped on until he had downed five or six himself. I then started to make my advances. I took his hand and led him to a fairly dark alley way where I let him do as he pleased before I easily slide my razor sharp teeth into his neck and drained him. I was always so clean that I just had a few droplets of blood to wipe away from my lips. I made my way back into the casino to make a bit of cash and to look for some more prey.

Tylen watched her leave. Granted, he was hungry; he hadn't fed for a day, which was unusual for him. The 'wine' he had bought was more sustenance than anything - not nearly fresh or potent enough for him to gain anything nutritious from. Of course, it would be rude to leave here without telling her, he mused, glancing around at the well-furnished room. So, I shall wait for her to return.

I sit at one of the machines, pondering who will come up to me when I decide that I should probably get back to my room. In one quick and graceful movement I gather up my winnings and place them into the small plastic cup. I head toward the elevator when a young woman walks in with me. I keep to myself and get off on my level. I open the door to find Tylen still sitting there. "I thought you would have left." I'm almost confused about him, and yet amused that he doesn't follow the workings of another being that I have met.

"That would have been impolite," he said, having stretched out leisurely on her bed. He smiled. "Is it unusual for you to meet polite people?"

"Its unusual for me to meet people, period." I go to my backpack and pull out a clean shirt. Without thinking, I rip off my shirt and replace it with a tighter one. "I've got this room for two days. Thats all I'm staying, unless something changes my mind." I turn and look at him. "I was taught to never stay in one place for too long. Plus I think I should go see some people about a few things."

"Why would you not stay in one place?" he mused, tilting his head to the side and watching her. He leaned forward slightly, leaning against a pile of pillows. "And which people?"

I glared at him. "That's none of your business. In a place like this, though, I could go unnoticed for a while longer, if need be." I laid down on the other bed and looked up at the ceiling. It had been a long day, or night. I hate how places like this make it so hard to distinguish day from night. I might just go back to a human sleeping cycle if I stay here too long.

He tilted his head to the side. "Is there wrong with human sleeping cycles?"

"I would rather not become anything like a human again. Here you know what why don't you come with me? Its been a while since I have had a comrade." I look at him, awaiting his answer.

He smirked at the word 'comrade', then nodded, "I could deal with some time out of town."

"Sounds good." I turn away and smile to myself. "You wanna get some things from... where ever it is you usually sleep, and just stay here?" I look back and him, my face blank as possible. I was already trying to plan how things would work out.

One of Tylen's fine eyebrows rose. "I could," he laughed. "But where's the fun in that?"

I giggle. "Fine, then leave and let me rest." Flashes a genuine smile.

"I mean that I would rather not leave," he said nonchalantly, stretching back out on the bed, eyes closed.

I giggle even more as I reach for the phone. A quick dial. "Hello, yes Daemon please. Yes, hello, I would like a bottle sent up. Your midnight special. Yes I was down in the bar earlier. Yes that. Thank you." I hang up the phone. "So, tell me about you." I adjust so I am more comfortable and yet a little bit closer to him.
