"I have money in my room," she said flatly, "But none with me." She had only been watching, not playing, and this man was challenging her? The man who hadn't even told her his name? She frowned. "Can the challenge wait until I get the money?" Risika never back down from a challenge - but something about this man's smugly devilish grin worried her, and actually made her debate accepting the challenge or not.

Marcus finished his poker game, losing rather pathetically. Although he didn't get what he wanted he still won something. She was going to head back to her room, he needed to know what room she was staying in and her saying that reminded him eh didn't have to do ths the hard way he OWNED this place. Marcus went to the front desk and asked about her name.
Marcus was horrified when the guys at the desk said they couldn't remember anything about a girl even when he described her to them they didn't remember anything. Marcus thought about it and then it came to him, most of the people he hired had different options then him about Lycans. She also had quite the scent of blood around her, together they wouldn't remember her.
Since they didn't hate Lycans there was no reason to remember her. Marcus cursed his foolishness.
When he got back to his office he took his anger out on his deck. He slammed his fist into his desk so many times he actually started to break it. He cursed before he finally let himself fall asleep in his chair. A small doze would calm him and would burn time until night where he could really burn his anger.

By the time Risika got to her room, found her money, got changed, and got back to the casino, Marcus was gone.
"DAMN." She half screeched, and winced. She spun around multiple times, trying to find him. He'd challenged her, and then stood her up. Unacceptable.
It was her turn to question the guys at the desk. She described her man, and when they pointed in the direction of a closed door, she stalked off in that direction, throwing the door open with a loud THWAK! and a hail of wood splinters. She stood in the door way, arms crossed, feet tapping.
"You're sleeping?"

Marcus sprung up from his chair and fell over his desk at someone breaking down his door. When he finally realized what was happening he was even more pissed. The aroma filled his nose again, shit, maybe challenging her wasn't the best idea. Marcus had to stop acting like he owned the place, even though he did.
Marcus looked up and manged to spit out even while still laying on the floor.
"Hey there, how can i help you"

"Wanna play cards?" she asked, one eyebrow raising. She had a purse with her. "Or were you too busy with your nap?"
Okay, Risika may have overreacted a little.

Marcus couldn't help but laugh. He was actually worried for his life. He got up his whole body shaking in laughter. All in all he sucked at cards but it was his casino his paycheck money went back into his paycheck money.
"I'm sorry but i don't play card, i suck"
Marcus held out his hand this time confident he could fight his hunger
"My names Marcus"

Risika's expression softened, just slightly. "Fine." she said, looking away. Then, when she saw his hand being offered she stepped forward and shook it. "Marcus. Nice to meet you."

Marcus had to fight to keep his mind off the blood and on with small talk. He hated small talk everything about it sucked especially when he was asked to talk. He sucked at small talk in general it was like trying to dodge a bullet, that shit just didn't happen.
"I'm sorry but I'm not really good with this small talk thing"
Marcus did that itch the back of your head thing as you smiled and tried to think up something amazing that could get him out from this small talking.

"I wasn't asking for small talk. I was just commenting that it was nice to actually know your name this time." Her eyes narrowed. "So what amazing thing are you trying to think of?"
She could read him like a book.

he was just starting to get an idea formed. He put a hand in his jacket pocket and pulled out his phone. As quick as lightning he sent a message to one of his friends. All the message said was "tag your it"
Marcus tried to make it look like he was still thinking till his phone buzzed saying
"Your on"
"well a business partner just contacted me and i have a very important errend to attend to."
With that Marcus decided to leave the cool way and he ran right out his window onto the roofs 20 stories below.
Tag time!

But hadn't he sent the message first? SHe'd seen the quick movements in his arm as he texted in his jacket pocket, and heard the buzz. She watched him make a not=so=graceful exit, then decided that anything involving business men jumping on rooftops was bound to be interesting. For sheer curiosity, she moved out the window as well.
