"My shift ended five minutes ago," he sighed. "I was on my way for a bite to eat. Care to join me?" Then, as if reading her thoughts (which he didn't, really) he added, "It's alright," as an after thought.

She shrugged again. "I don't see why not. I have nothing else to do," She smiled again. "But I am paying for myself," She smirked and walked away with that before turning around again with a palm to her face. "Where are we going now?"

"A restaurant, probably. Unless you want me to cook for you." He grimaced, then laughed. "That might be hazardous to your health." He smirked, walking after her.

She laughed at the words he spoke. "Well, don't worry then. I can't cook either, not to save my life. It's quite sad actually. I gave myself food posioning from steamed carrots once. I don't even want to get into detail," She looked at him through the corner of her sight. "A restuarant is fine. Just not something all fanceh fanceh. I don't do fancy, ever."

"I guess you didn't go to prom," he laughed, then gestured vaguely ahead of them. "There's a restaurant somewhere along The Strip. It shouldn't be too expensive,"

"Of course not. My mom died before I even got to high school, so I never finished school," She smiled again. "But true. There is no way I would have gone to prom. If I did, I would have probably worn a tank top and jeans," That caused her to laugh. "School sounds boring any way. I learned everything I know from experience and books... and the internet when possible. WOOHOO INTERNET!" She laughed again, her fist in the air.

"Internet," he mused, smiling."I suppose it is better to learn everything for yourself - so that you won't be given faulty information." he laughed.

"Are you serious?" She gave him an incredulous look. "The internet was made of faulty facts," She laughed again. "Books, though. A good source. I heart books,"

"Only if the person who writes the information is dishonest." he laughed. "Books are good." He nodded in agreement.

"Plth," It was more of a hiss in disagreement than anything. "Or people who just want to screw the world over... I LOVE THIS SONG!" My I-pod just suddenly blared my favorite song. Yes, I am easily distracted.

Octaviar laughed, holding the door open for her. "What song would that be?"

"Diary of Jane by Breaking Benjamin. Thank you oh so kind sir," She said sarcasticaly. She walked in and found a seat by the window, so she could see the moon. She kicked her feat up so they rested on the long cushioned chair parallel from her. "Hmmmm... The utterly classic Mcdonalds. I'll take a 20 peice chicken nugget with frys and a coke, you?" She asked, thinking about what to eat. Maybe I should get a shake, too.

He ordered a shake; that was it. As a shapeshifter, he didn't necessarily have to eat. He just needed something in his stomach. "I don't know that song," he sighed. With the years, he had quickly lost touch with music.

"Eh, Don't worry. I found it yesterday while on youtube. Let's just say I'm sorta of Insomnia," She replied, tapping her foot while filling up her coke. "WHat kind of music do you listen to?"

"Classical. But only the really good, trance-y kind." he smiled. "I'm a little old fashioned, I guess," he sighed.
