Behind The Walls
Dear Diary:;
Ross never really lived an extraordinary life of any sort. He had a normal family, and he never knew that his mother was a Lamia. She never showed any signs of it to him or to his older sister and younger brother.
He was oblivious for several years as an adult while he was in college, until he was suddenly thrust into the Night World because his parents' marriage was discovered and the two of them were sentenced to death because his father was a human. He and his siblings were allowed to live because they had had no say and had never been exposed to the Night World, nor even told of it.
After that happened, the half-Lamia part of him began to rise up from the dormant state it had stayed in before he and his siblings were forced to watch the execution so that they, too, understood the consequences of breaking the laws of the Night World. Ross, who is a devout Catholic like his father before him, is still struggling to control and come to terms with the nature and world he never knew about. In all reality, he does not believe that it should exist, and it makes it harder for him to accept and tame it.
This Is Me:;
Ross has a very interesting personality if you actually get to know him (and if he'll let you) - the majority of the time, he's calm and serious, though he has a wicked sense of humor. On the flip side, when he's mad, he can be really mad, and it can get rather ugly....okay, really ugly, depending on how mad you make him...
I Crave:;
Dark colors
Music
Guitars
I Despise:;
The Night World
Demons, the Devil, etc.
Gossip(ers)
Mud
The time between spring and summer and fall and winter
I Thrive On:;
Being able to drown things out; Being stronger and faster than a normal human, being a hybrid, after all.
I Flee From:;
Doesn't like other Night Worlders (at all, in any way, shape, for form); Ross isn't precisely brave, even if he isn't a coward; and if he'd be risking his neck, he'd chose to run instead of fighting.
