Dear Diary:;
Krestal was born in Romania, where the fears of the Night World are more obvious than others. Over the years she noticed that people often said very off things, about creatures of the night, and then vanished. She observed this silently (it is amazing what a quite little girl can learn if she stays still and listens) and soon found that everything she had been taught to fear, yet think of as a myth, was real. Alive. Or maybe not so much alive as existing. She told her mother this, and her mother went to tell a doctor of what was then called dementia, and her mother disappeared. Now an orphan, Krestal began her own studies on these creatures, and vowed to avenge her mother, in whatever way possible. She found that when she was seventeen she stopped aging – miraculously – and that her newly-found skills in magic came with an easier grace. Krestal lives in America now, where outbursts of the Night People seem to have been growing more and more common.
This Is Me:;
Krestal is quiet and solemn, standing out in a crowd with an air of distinct hatred – but is not always obvious what. She is standoffish and quite cruel when it comes to the Night People, and uses her magic deftly. She doesn’t tell anyone of her duty, doesn’t even bother to work except for her hunting – it is very easy to alter official papers and pretend to be some old millionaire’s daughter. She hardly ever talks, unless it is a threat.

I Flee From:;
Krestal is a good judge at whether she can win a fight or not – and will often hire help in difficult situations.
